Summer Alpha

For the first time, we are offering Alpha's Follow-up Course entitled "A LIFE WORTH LIVING".  A 9-week course, "A Life Worth Living" provides a video-based verse-by-verse study through the New Testament book of Philippians.  Taught by Nicky Gumbel, the study is full of Biblical insight and lively illustrations.  Sessions are being held from June 3rd through July 29th.  We meet on these Thursdays at 1:00 pm 'till about 2:30 pm.  In addition to informative and inspirational Bible study, time is given to sharing creative desserts and coffee.

This course is free and is offered especially for those who have already taken the basic Alpha Course.

Our FIFTH offering of the Alpha Course  will begin on Friday, September 10, 2010.  Our course will continue each Friday afternoon thereafter through November 19, 2010.  We'll start off each session with a delicious meal, then watch an entertaining and stimulating video featuring Alpha's very own Nicky Gumbel, and follow that up with an anything-goes, no-question-is-too-silly-to-ask group discussion.  Beginning promptly at 12:00 Noon, we'll conclude each Friday afternoon class by 2:30 pm.  We will be meeting in the spacious home of Robert and Shirley Breautl at 1 Newport Court, Whiting.

Our weekly course sessions are FREE.
